re: As technology advances, why do we need to even keep the traditional school model?

Living in Texas most high schools have those programs. I teach at middle school in a very conservative area and most teachers are conservative. No teacher union and my feeder high school has welding, auto, plus other cate programs like architecture, fashion design,interior design, culinary and others.
