He scored in the cup (I didn’t think he had a great game to be honest but still) and doesn’t even make the bench. They aren’t helping themselves if they seriously want to keep him

He wasn't on the bench because there's almost certainly stuff going on behind the scenes. Since that game, Chelsea denied his transfer request, and I'm sure he and the club are not on great terms right now.
