My gripe has always been the lowering of expectations based on some invented shortage of talent. There is none.

Can't say I really disagree with anything you posted. The 10-2 projection I agree is attainable, but there with have to be a lot of things line up correctly for that to happen such as:
Minimal injuries to critical positions
Speed with which offense settles in to new system
QB development and new RB development
Defense's ability to create turnovers (only knock on Aranda's D)
Special teams function as a net plus
Now the first we have limited control. The other 4 are on the coaches and to a lesser extent the players so we shall see.
