The clips and quotes of that scene always stop short. The point of the scene is that the guy is an annoying dick. His girlfriend later explains that they call it a venti because it’s 20 oz. It’s not till later in the movie that he stops being a condescending prick.

I guess I must be an annoying dick too, then, because things like that make me just as angry as they made him. Like places that refuse to call their portion sizes small, medium, and large. It makes me want to tear my hair out. Reminds me of the bit from Animaniacs when Doctor Scratchansniff goes to the movies.
DOC: I’d like a small popcorn, please.
KID BEHIND COUNTER: Uh, we don’t have small.
DOC: Then what do you have?
KID: We have large, chubby, and extra chubby!
DOC: Then wouldn’t that make a large a small?
KID: Uh... I’ll have to ask my manager.
