My Top 5:
Chicken soup at RAMA
Lobster bisque at Texas de Brazil
Cream of brie and crabmeat soup at Mansur's
Soupe Jacqueline at Maison Lacour
Hangover ramen at Umami
Any of the five can be my personal favorite on any given night.

Hangover ramen at Umami
I have had this every week during my undergraduate years for around $12 dollars per soup is enough for me.
Umami is legitimate Japanese, Thai, and Viet food that is well sourced. The trick with making well made Japanese and Asian food is well sourced seafood, meat, and good employees who know the practice. They have both.
