"Myles Brennan Senior year : 4,000 yds, 69% completion, 48-3 Td-Int, 455 yds rushing, 7.1 ypc and 9 TDs.

Burrow also played in 3 more games than Brennan did his Senior year.

So with 3 more games, that's : 5,000 yds, 60-3 TD-Int, 569 yds rushing, and about 10 rushing TDs

So I guess we should be equally freaked out and drooling over Brennan too?"

I think Brennan had great stats and should be brought along at a reasonable pace. Apparently, not ready yet. Looks like he has the talent to be a good qb. Definitely wouldn't give up on him after one year.

If Burrow, who seems to have a similar skill set, decides to come and ends up starting, Brennan will have the time to develop. Better for all concerned.

Would note that Burrow's senior HS stats were somewhat better than Brennan. Burrow averaged 17.8 yards per completion, while Brennan averaged 14.5. Burrow had a qb rating of 151.6 and Brennan had a rating of 137.6. (See maxpreps stats) As I have been saying I hope that Burrow finds a good place like LSU to enroll.
