These 'easy convictions' were Mueller's ace in the hole. He was going to use them to say 'look there were crimes, with convictions, and circumstantial evidence connects Trump so he must talk to us'.

If these Concord baws drag their nuts across Mueller's face - it's an absolute death blow to Mueller. I mean, he's already bleeding out from a thousand cuts, but this would be more than a mere flesh wound.
