re: Out of state job interview

I’ve traveled for a job interview on my dime and it worked out. I had one company fly me to Dallas and the interview sucked.

I was working with a recruiter who asked if I’d be available to come to Dallas for an interview and I said yes. Had nothing but time since I wasn’t working, so I bit the bullet and went. Got the job, the rest is history. We’re not a cheap company by any means, as the fee to hire me was well into 5 figures, but they wouldn’t have taken the chance to pay someone to interview.
