Same here. I don't agree with the ranges - I'm 28 and I don't think I qualify as what most people think of as a millennial. There's a very negative connotation to millennial these days. I didn't start regularly using a computer until around 9th grade. Got my first cell phone in 9th grade, first smart phone in 2010. I think a lot of this can be explained by where you were raised, country folk vs. city folk.

The generational characteristics probably get blurred if you included location with birth years.


Edit to add: not to mention the addition of associating with uncles/aunts, siblings, or cousins that might straddle one of the age previous age groups.
