Steve Wiltfong just CB'd him to tOSU. If he does choose to go there, we are screwed for QB yet again. Maybe get lucky and snag another transfer but we can't keep leaning on that non-sense.

We haven't been able to recruit or coach up a qb in years and we sealed our fate when we hired Steve Ensminger as our OC. Not trying to be negative

Crazy how schools like Ohio State, Clemson, and UGA can stack high rated QBs year end and year out. There can be only one QB on the field at a time, and I mean actually under center, yet top 5 QBs decide to go to these schools 2 and 3 years in a row.
This post isn't about saying, why doesn't this highly rated QB want to go to a wide open position at a school like LSU. This post is about saying, why do this Uber talented guy smash together at the same school? Yes competition and all, but as soon as they lose the battlr, most decide to transfer within 1-2 years, or almost immediately after. Wasting 2-3 years usually becoming a nobody again.
On to the actual topic. This is typical for LSU. The last top 100 recruit at QB we got out of state was Jamarcus Russell. The problem is, LSU has been a shite school for passing the ball because of the style of offense ran. We don't have a dedicated QB coach that has a history of producing good college QBs either (Miles neglected this his entire career). We don't have the win record to entice these guys like a Bama, nor do we have the academic prestige to entice these guys like a Stanford.
The next coach needs to prioritize the QB position and a spread offense.
