Surely you understand that you are paid by tax dollars, therefore there is only a certain amount of dollars. In business, I can make more money if the business starts to make more money
Just like casinos in Louisiana was supposed to go into education and road repair but that hasn't happened like planned.

By giving you a raise that also increase pension expense. So for argument's sake let's say a raise can't be done, but you could vote to raise your salary $12k per year, but you'd only get 50% pension, would you take it?
Not sure how anyone can argue this is fair based on what I've done and accomplished. However, many feel that teachers are glorified babysitters and don't deserve nearly what they're paid.
