Owned one once, never again. As the repair guy told me "water is not meant to be held in by a door".

I have had one for almost 10 years now and I won't buy another one either. I find that putting about 1/2 cup of Borax (along with your regular detergent) in each wash load and keeping the door open all the time helps to keep the mildew/mold off of the rubber seal.

well how do washaterias or industrial washing machines do it?
