Civil War/Black Panther Question

Rewatching Civil War and when King T’Chaka is giving his speech, he talks about how he’s upset that the stolen Vibranium from Wakanda was used as a weapon. Is it not established in BP that Wakanda is still considered a Third World country and the public does not know about the Vibranium yet on Wakanda? Just confused on the timeline of this

They announce the country... but it's all relatively unknown.
So.. vibranium and the ins and outs of this advanced community is still a mystery but free to try and figure out.
I mean, crazy invisible ships.. but also armor advanced rhinos..

I have a question as well, In the MCU BP is worth more than Stark yet they dont do business with the outside world so where did the wealth come from??

It's a net worth thing...
Stark has tech and weapons deals
Wakanda has rich resources that are theoretically worth more.. but have been mostly self sufficient

In BP when Klaw tells agent Ross that Wakanda is sitting on a mountain of vibranium Ross says "No, you stole all their vibranium." The outside world thought the vibranium that Ultron took from Klaw was all they had.

I think this is the best answer. Wakanda has never let on how much Vibranium they actually have. Since it is so "rare" and the strongest metal in the world, they can sell it for whatever price they want. The Wakandans have been misleading the world and once they find out that Wakanda has all this advanced tech, the world is going to have a lot of resentment towards them. I think this will be a central story line in the next Black Panther movie.
