I'd worry about making money over making a point. People in his position don't have a lot of time to make their money.
Some people's values arent for sale. He grew up poor, which makes sticking to his guns even more impressive and admirable IMO.
I dont worship the almighty dollar. He grew up poor, and money comes and goes, but no one can take away your character unless you give him permission.
Im glad he kept it real - those assholes deserve to be put on blast for implying that his mom was a prostitute, then prodding if he likes dudes.
If you ask the wrong person in the street that shite, youll have to swallow some of your own teeth. Power tripping end-all-be-all bastards acting like gods.

If he's at peace with the way he handled the draft process then that's all that matters.
But fair or not, teams have the right to respond to that the way they see fit. If he didn't mind his bank account being a little lighter then it was worth it.
Part of being in the NFL is representing the team in the way they want you to.

They are private business owners. They can ask what they want. Right or wrong. They are the gods of the nfl......
The day they exiled Kevin Mawae coming off an all-pro year due to him being NFLPA President amid the Mike Vick uproar and not wanting the union head in their locker rooms, I checked out. You’re telling me the man didn’t have at least one year to gel a struggling oline unit?!?! At a minimum, he went out on top and holding the chalice of righteousness.
