From the way your post sounded, you've explained this idea with the guide and he was okay with it. I've wondered how it would go over with guides knowing you're going to be coming back and hitting the same techniques and areas as them.

First of all, this is a service the guide offers. Secondly, he will show me the types of areas to look for, I will not be very concerned with catching fish on the trip. That way I can go to my part of the lake and try to duplicate the areas. I don’t want him to find fish for me, I want him to help me learn the best way to break down an area and eliminate dead water.
