give me the wizards trade in a heartbeat. No possible way he just walks. At worst it will be a sign and trade, because he can get more money and the team that gets him can get him for 1 more year.

I said it in the other thread talking about the ringer article. a sign-and-trade to Washington that looks like Boogie for Porter is very very hard to pass up.
Boogie has relationships with John Wall and Eric Bledsoe and both MIL & WAS could probably be looking to make some roster moves this offseason. So it's possible he'd agree to a S&T to either, netting us Porter or Middleton. Other guys that could be changing teams (i.e. John Wall, Kemba Walker, Kawhi, PG13) seem less likely. However make no mistake, these are the only guys that could be on the move this summer that I'd trade Boogie for. But this is a tricky situation, and it might not be worth the risk to chase after other players for fear of upsetting AD and the current team chemistry. AND what if you could get a Kawhi or PG without giving up Boogie?
I do agree that the Pelicans have an upper hand in this Boogie situation. The Lakers are really the only team with cap space that Boogie would also have mutual interest in joining, esp if another big named guy signs there. But I believe New Orleans, even if you take out all emotion and all connection, is Boogie's #1 landing spot
EDIT: because I dont understand the cap lol
