I could be wrong, but I am going to assume this bear was in the wild. I don’t get why wild animals who are doing with they are supposed to do in the wild are put down..

I remember reading something along the lines of once a carnivore attacks and gets a taste of human blood, it makes it more likely to attack humans in the future.

Could be nonsense but that’s been my understanding

That reminds me of the bit Chris Rock did when Siegfried or Roy got bit by their tiger during their act.

That tiger didn't go crazy...
