Do you know anyone at the plant?

It helps, you can actually have the person follow it down the line, and make sure it's 100% perfect. Sometimes shite gets switched in the computers, having some one there makes sure it doesn't.

Mom ordered a mini van, her husband followed it to paint, and they had it as a different color, he stopped line, got supervisor, they changed shite in computers and it came out correct color. When it was in trim, computer had it with cheap interior, which is not what she ordered, he stopped it and made sure shite was right, pulling it off the line.

When my father ordered his Cherokee, we knew some one at the plant and they babysat it all the way till it left the factory lot.

Stuff like that can happen but it’s not a legitimate concern when ordering vehicles, not to the extent that you need to know someone at the plant to follow the process. That’s extreme to say the least.
