Unfortunately I'll be on a flight that takes off at 8:30 PM tonight and won't land until 10:50 PM. Has anyone had luck streaming live sports on an American Airlines flight wifi?? I don't think my plane has live TV so was going to pay the $15 or whatever for wifi if it means I can watch the game.

Regardless I'll definitely be taking flight tonight! Flap flap!

ive tried and its hard.

Accessing the internet as is streaming Netflix.

Paid the 15$ and tried to stream a live game once from Miami to New Orleans and the connection wouldn't allow me.

Just ask the co-pilot for a play by play over the PA

You can get the game on r/nbastreams. Not sure how the connection will be with plane wifi though

Most major airlines block streaming. I haven't tried r/NBAstreams on a flight, but it could potentially work.

I’m pretty sure that you won’t be able to stream from their Wi-Fi. If you go to the American website and type in the flight number, it will show you the options available for entertainment. If the flight has seat back video, they will probably have some live TV options there. But because this game is not on ESPN or TNT, it probably doesn’t matter anyway. You may be stuck with the Pelicans, NBA or ESPN app over Wi-Fi. And if it’s an American eagle regional jet, you probably won’t even have Wi-Fi. Good luck and safe travels.
