I gave specifics yesterday in another thread , but don't mind repeating.
My wife and I gave $1K to Ronald McDonald House last year. But we also have two officially adopted children that we are raising , and we just recently took two more foster kids in.
As for where we volunteer our time. Yes let me start
I am on my local school board
I am a Scout leader in the boy scouts
My wife is a girl scouts leader
I coach American Legion baseball, and youth soccer
My wife coaches soccer
I am heavily involved in the various charities involving disabled vets
I teach self defense classes for free at our local community center once a week
My wife cooks meals for a local charity that delivers to the needy once a week.
Oh, and we somehow manage to find the time to volunteer at a local big cat rescue park when we can
