You may be joking but when Syrian forces built up to go after ISIS in Deir Ezzoir area we threatened them and kept them from advancing saying we were worried about SDF being attacked. Syria and Russia had made it clear they were gonna go after ISIS. It’s not that our “leaders” don’t want ISIS defeated, they just don’t want Syria defeating them. Basically, our leaders are shitty people.

SDF made the the breaking of the encirclement at Deir Ezzor possible. There was legitimate tension between the SAA and SDF at that time.
