Walk around the walled area with your lawnmower running.
The vibrations will likely cause the snake to move elsewhere.
This is a good method to drive snakes out of wood piles, flowerbeds, etc. before working in those areas.

Please don't try mothballs.
Even if you don't care about the toxins entering the soil and water supply you won't be able to enjoy being outside for months bc you'll be overwhelmed by the stench of mothballs.
