I think this isn't so much about these voters swinging to the democrats, but more so about older white democrats being MORE LIKELY to vote in 2018.

Polls measure those who indicate they are voting in 2018. It could be that republican older white educated voters, upset with trump, are just not going to turn out. Doesn't mean they are switching to dems.

Look at 2010 and 2014. Groups didn't "SWING" to the GOP, dems just simply sat out.

Neither the IPSOS or Reuters link state if these were likely voters or registered voters.....just says "adults". AKA, the least informative polls taken, regardless of sample demographics.

I fully expect a 'blue wave' this November but if Dems win 65+ educated voters nationally, I'll eat my shoe.
