Not even nervous. Maybe it’s the apathy. I’m convinced we bring it back to Washington 2-2. Game 5 is when I’ll start getting nervous.

Great 2nd round so far, and last night games were intense, the Washington -vs- Pittsburgh & Predators -vs- Jets games were awesome! Finals are over, its time to really enjoy the NHL playoffs, wooo hooooo...

Hopefully the Lightning can take care of business tonight, and Lightning's top-line has got to produce or things could go south. Well, Kucherov's bad seems to be some players good but he's still has another level that can be reached. Hopefully we witness this line going off soon, the Lightning need all hands on deck. All these 2nd round games are starting to get chippy, they usually do, but if you don't fight back you'll get eaten alive by those who do. I've watched the Lightning go from a soft team to one who doesn't take crap no more. Should make for a hard fought battle tonight, and I'd be shocked if we don't end up with the fever we witnessed in last night games. Game 3, buckle-up...

Heck of a game by Predators last night, and those jump-screens by Arvidsson #33 sure work, don't they? The Pens got a win while not playing that great, one can't complain when that happens. No matter NHL rulings, Washington has to play with more intensity or their going to get Penned again. Mental toughness is very important and to be a NHL Champion, one has to overcome whatever adversity comes your way.

Huge game for the Lightning tonight!!! Hopefully the Lightning get different results compared to the other series, all tied at 2-2, and get a 3-1 series advantage tonight. I sure hope the Lightning's top line figures it out soon, Boston has done a swell job keeping them in check...

Go Lightning !!!!

Wow, the Caps might actually beat their demons after that solid 3rd period last night. Boy, I figured Washington was done after such a terrible 2nd period, but the Caps came through with a solid 3rd period, Now getting that 4th win during any series is the toughest part, and until that deed is done, the Caps haven't won squat yet. Washington is close it hurts! The other series game 5 was a tight goal-tending duel, but then the game blew wide open 1/2 way through. What an explosion of scoring by the Jets during the 2nd period! Seems Nashville has gotta win the long change battles or they're done. I believe the team that has won the 2nd period "Long-change-battle" has won all the games so far, but not 100% sure though. Nashville has to limit that 2nd period damage because it seems they're getting owned during. Speed can be a killer during the long-change and Nashville should play it extra safe during the 2nd, especially with the top-4 defensive team they've got.

Speaking of that series 4th win, the Lightning will be trying to get that tough achievement today. It was awesome watching Stamkos coming through with the tying goal, when it mattered most, the other night. The Lightning will need more of that, from their top-line, if they want to reach the promise land. Hopefully the Lightning keep their composure, even when licked, and get that tough 4th series win today. Not a huge fan of 3:00 pm puck drops, night Hockey is the best....grrr

The Lightning have gone further in these playoffs than what I figured they would go. Things just weren't clicking for this Lightning team since All-star break, and I didn't think they'd make it past the 2nd round, but the team has answered the call so far. All a fan can ask for is your team has a chance to raise the best trophy in sports. The NHL playoffs are so tough and "The Cup" is the hardest trophy to win within any sport, period!!! Special moments these playoff runs are, and to think, these 4 teams are only 1/2 way there. Boy, lots of work left...

Now I hope the Lighting win it all because this core-group of Lightning players have been so close beforehand, but if there's was one team I could deal with raises "The Cup" besides the Lightning, it'd be the Caps. Should be a good series and I hope both final series give us memorable Hockey.

The Lightning have been outplayed these last two games, and that's being very kind. They'll have to bring it ten-fold while playing their best Hockey if they have any chance of turning this series around. Washington is playing great Hockey right now and the Lightning playing average won't cut it. Hopefully the Lightning, especially their defensive play, can turn it around tonight.

Gotta give Washington much kudos, they've been outstanding during this series so far. The Caps finally beating the Pens seems to have Washington believing, peaking at right time, and playing on other level right now. Their team demeanor is totally different afterwards, one can feel & see it. Sometimes getting that HUGE monkey off ones back does wonders, and it seems Washington is finally reaching their full-potential. The Lightning will have to overcome this positive mojo, no doubt! Plus, that # 92 Kuznetsov for the Caps makes things happen, he's the real deal. The Lightning need not give #92 so much space, he's way to sharp to do all that. He'll spy the shot opening or feed Washington's other sharpshooters, gotta watch this #92 cat closely.

The Lightning have a HUGE mountain to climb and gettign this series at 2-1 starts that climb.

Go Lightning !!!!

Boy, another HUGE game 5 tonight and playoff Hockey sure will test your health! It's crazy how one final series looked destined for game 7 after starting 1-1, and the other final series looked like a possible sweep after home team started with a 0-2 deficit. Seems like a long time ago, both these series have gone opposite ways since. Vegas is looking sharp right now and their goalie is on fire.

Hopefully the Lightning can be the first team to win at home this series, and getting a sweet start could help with all that. Considering how this series has had huge momentum swings, starting well would serve the Lightning well. The Lightning started well last game, but taking so many penalties in-a-row totally snatched away what mojo they had started to build up. Washington came on strong during this and the Lightning can not do that again, period! The Lightning wasn't able to get their mojo back until they scored in the 3rd, and they can't afford to give Washington's snipers that much puck possession again. Consecutively, taking that many penalties didn't allow the Lightning's best players to have the puck on their sticks for a pretty long stretch. Took scoring in the 3rd to get their legs back under them, but luckily the Lightning's goalie stood on his head during that stretch, and he was the difference in that game. New game now, and here we go, game 5's are so intense...

God this is exactly like the Jagr/Nylander series where we dominated and went up 2-0 in Tampa and then lost four straight. Sickening.

2-0 is the most dangerous lead in hockey but frick. I thought this team was different.
