It's interesting because he has ignored the posts that have pointed out his family get together and his FIL using racist language in front of everyone and his friend who was insulted, but he most likely did nothing to stop when faced with the opportunity to do so.

It's also kind of odd because he sort of thinks he is using it to denounce the south and use a typical general stereotype to belittle an entire group of people with an antectodal example. Yet, at the same time, he admits it's his own FIL and his friends which is sort of ironic when you think about it. If I was him I may want to keep that info quiet if (according to him) he married into sort of a trashy group.
