Then you probably aren't an old curmudgeon then.
While I wasn't young enough to have Millenials under my command I did have plenty of young men that many here would consider soft when they first came in. One thing I learned is some of those soft kids made the best soldiers. I learned not to judge people until I saw them tested. Each generation of kids gets tested less as children as did the previous generations but just like previous generations many of them rise to the occasion when called for.
I personally hate the millennial bashing I think it is pathetic and much of it results from jealousy. In any case, bashing an entire generation is simply intellectually weak.
