His brother was here, Nall was pretty terrible at LSU, and Rohan has never taken a snap. It was a pretty open competition that he won.

From what I recall he didn't commit to LSU prior to the 1999 season until he was guaranteed to start year 1. I don't think there was much of a competition. Oddly enough, Booty gets benched the last game of the season after Dinardo, the coach who made that promise, was fired and we kicked ranked Arkansas' teeth in with Rohan at QB.
