Ducks in Venice

Fishing there this past weekend saw a couple hundred teal as well as big ducks. Seems really late to be seeing them this far to the south but always awesome to watch them

Not uncommon at all for them to be around right now, have seen plenty small ducks in late april to even early May. Northern reaches of the flyway pretty frigid still, hope it's not too late of a spring up that way.

They were stacked thick in Dularge too. Lots of teal

I usually see more ducks while fishing in February and March than I do during many parts of the season

For real though be real will be coming through til mid April They migrants early and then come back late. Have always seen gadwalls in north lousiana up into turkey season for as long as I've been living
