re: School buses picking kids up at 830?

We don't run busses in my suburb. I wish they did because the afternoon carpool is a total cluster. Lazy parents say that their kids are walkers so they get out 10 minutes earlier. All they do is walk to the nearest intersection back in the neighborhood where their moms are lined up along the curb waiting to pick them up. All so mommy doesn't have to go through the dreaded carpool line. And there are literally 25-30 cars all parked in a row and the neighborhood road is down to one lane when all of the rest of the parents are trying to dodge them to get through to the school.
