Beautiful game, a lot of fun. I like the Far Cry format so no issues with outposts, etc. Love open world concept.
Pros:
- Gorgeous
- Creative premise
- Well-optimized performance-wise
- Fun gameplay
Gripes:
- Janky NPC's
- Spawning/despawning of enemies and allies seems buggy. Saw an armored convoy from my helicopter heading north, landed helicopter at the first intersection I could find to get out and line up a shot, the convoy was gone.
- Would appreciate more weapon variety. They seem to be going skin-heavy without much variance in the number of base models per weapon class you can acquire.
- Immersion can be pretty much ruined with any amount of time on a major road. They keep those roads too busy with fighting/enemies. Same kind of goes for animals in the wild. They didn't at all follow the "less is more" line of thought.
ETA: People who are saying its too political are getting their panties in a wad. Even if you believe its a jab at evangelicals, almost all of the "good guys" are combat veterans, cynical towards the federal government and even occasionally refer to globalist conspiracies in cartoonized fashion. A badass christian Pastor in Holland Valley is one of the leaders. But these characters are likable. So worst-case scenario it is poking fun without taking a clear stance against the red-blooded Americans its portraying.

Janky NPC's
Are they ever..
A clear step back from past ubisoft titles. They just do random shtt. I'm always chasing after NPCs which are on MY TEAM.
