That chart is horribly misleading, though. The human drivers get the benefit of being broken out by age range, but all of Waymo's wrecks are shown against each age range. The effect is that it looks like Waymo gets in way more wrecks than humans of all but the most extremes of the age ranges. In actuality, Waymo won't displace only drivers of certain ages, but all drivers and you have to compare its record to humans as an aggregate to get the true story.

Lump all humans together and compare to Waymo or break Waymo's wrecks out into how old the person in the other car was to match the age ranges that the humans are broken into and that chart might be useful.
