Yet here you are trying to salvage it. You know what else "looked amazingly and comically huge" on a 747? The Space Shuttle. Why don't you go start another inane thread about that. Like I said in my first post, it would be interesting to speculate on the competence of GE's aviation division WRT to GE as a whole, because the recently relieved Jeff Immelt ran that company into the ground.
