Funny you do realize that faith in capitalism is illogical.

To be fair, it wasn't a "rant"...it was a thought piece on what happens if AI and robots can do EVERYTHING?
Wealth is created...but, jobs are not needed (at least, not MOST jobs).
The thought piece is "what happens then?".
It is not a condemnation of capitalism...it is a call to think about a future where "work" may not be needed as it is today.
If we were a small island nation and "oil" is found in massive amounts. Perhaps every citizen could get a stipend of tremendous amounts of money and all labor could be hired from outsiders. That kind of thing.

Still. A guy who brought a large amount of knowledge about our universe to the public rather than encouraging discovery and innovation decides to go on a rant about politics.
It was the last answer to an AMA where he received the questions beforehand. He talked about all sorts of stuff in the AMA. LINK

How would he know? Has anyone ever seen him actually do anything?? When was the last time he had a job?

How are you fighting capitalism today? How much of your paycheck do you give to the less fortunate? How much of your time do you devote to those without the same opportunities as you?
I do a lot. I give money to socialist organizations, I pay my taxes, I donate money, I devote time to socialism activism via marches, I am active in my union, protests, organizing, and being political active in the Democratic Party pushing in toward the Left. I do more to help socialism than you do to help capitalism.

He argued for wealth re-distribution. Sounded exactly like a RED statement of faith to me.

Too bad R2-D2 with horrible teeth didnt believe in God or his last words might have been something worth remembering like "Oh God I'm blowing your whore pussy full of cum"

That will happen with mass automation. But that isn't anti capitalism

Sounds like a class envy type of question to me. Maybe he no longer needed a job.

His day job was reliant on gubment money but he authored several books that made him wealthy. Capitalism was very good to him

The dude was brilliant, but he had a weak understanding of economics and of human nature.
He should have spent a few hours talking to Dr. Jordan Peterson to round out his education.

He spent his entire life surrounded by academia, that will eventually poison your intellect no matter how large it is.
