re: Women don't want to be married, they just want a wedding.

I agree for the most part.
It snowed the week before our wedding. My then fiancee was freaking out that no one would be able to make it to the wedding.
I asked a simple question.
"Do you know what will happen if just you, me, and the minister show up on Saturday?"
"No. What?"
"We'll get married."
She started ranting about that not being the point, blah, blah, blah.
It became obvious to me right then that women begin dreaming of a big, beautiful wedding as little girls and said wedding/rehearsal has to be perfect.
Guys on the other hand don't give it much thought until the right one comes along. Even then, most of us would be perfectly fine with eloping in order to skip all the drama that goes along the ceremonies.
