I was living in Tulsa and had several conversations the following weeks with agents investigating but having to stay in Tulsa due to the sheer number of people occupying ALL the hotel rooms in and around OKC (media, ATF, FBI, etc.

Tulsa is only 90 miles from OKC you could have driven back home afterwards.

The agents were having to drive that daily. I lived and worked in Tulsa during that time.

There were lots of people talking about how the FBI offices in the Murrah Bldg were open but empty that day. How the results could've been much worse had all the children enrolled been present. How it was "miraculous" not a single FBI employee at any level had so much as a hangnail and every single one was accounted for.

It came out that the Feds "suspected" some kind of "protest" to occur on THAT Waco anniversary somewhere in the MidWest as a "tax protest". Yet, the mid 1990's were not like today, protests just did not happen back then. And protests now don't occur in the MidWest even when they are commonplace along both coasts.
