I didn't say you did.

How you're presenting the argument does.

While I understand it's not so simple as some would indicate, unless your materials cost is a very significant fraction of the overall cost the impact you're presenting does seem overstated.

Even if steel us used in other parts, they have the same corresponding issue.

Some here, some there adds up. But this math isn't working for me
