Farmhouse tables are big now. Probably $50-100 total in lumber and sell for $100 linear foot. $150-200 for a bench.
To actually make it a side gig it's gonna have to be something you can either knock out fast and in bulk. Build 5-10 at a time and custom finish when ordered.

Yes, that's an idea I have as well. I've seen those going for outrageous dollar amounts online and don't look difficult at all to build.
