GTFO with the histrionics. Most rational people support allowing any faculty member at a school (which includes coaches, principals, etc.) who choose to want to get their concealed carry/firearm training to be allowed to then do so in the school. No one wants every teacher to be forced to have a gun, for the exact reason you just mentioned. Not everyone has the ability to safely, confidently and responsibly carry a weapon.
So no, we don't want all teachers to carry guns.
Yes, allowing teachers/faculty who want to carry guns (regardless of gender) to do so is infinitely better than the school being a "no gun zone" which literally protects no one.
