Well, it was a time of great racial tension in the country. We were coming off the heels of the Rodney King controversy and this, to the black community, was seen as a chance to even the score. Like I said, they all know he did it, but they wanted to see him walk to get back at whitey.

Most logical and educated people, regardless of race, knew that OJ killed his ex wife and Ronald Goldman. It was like asking if Michael Jordan was a HoF'er.
The jury wanted OJ acquitted based on prior racial injustices. The end.
