But often as not, he was a liability in not fielding punts and allowing them to roll. we lost a lot of field position as a result of this, which is negative yardage that should be assessed against the punt returner (I am aware the stats don't take this into account, but the lost yardage is just as real as the yardage gained on the return.)




Sadly I think a lot of that is coaching.
