Personal Loan through AmEx

I logged into my AmEx account this morning and noticed a pre-approval alert for a PL of up to $15,000 with an interest rate of up to 9.69%. Went ahead an applied since I have a balance on 2 CCs and wanted to consolidate. My question is: Has anyone gotten a PL through AmEx and what was that experience like? I'm thrilled to be able to pay off the 2 CCs that have a higher intr. rate and be paid off in 12 months (or less.)

You didnt consider the numerous cards on the market with 0% APR balance transfers for a year or so?
