That is so messed up :-/ the warning signs for borderline are there from nearly the beginning (like the first time they flip the frick out when you’re doing something without them). But it’s easy to brush off because they are usually over the top into you early on. You get sucked in. And then you realize they are legit crazy and that there is very little treatment. Grim outlook.

Yep.

I look back on it this way; I was recently divorced after being married for 9 years to the girl I met in college. God decided I needed to learn some tough lessons about life, women, and relationships and that I'm pretty dense when it comes to that stuff. He dumped metric ton of crazy on me in one load. Hurt like hell but I'm better off for it.

Scarred but smarter.

Remarried to a wonderful woman and I know when to stand up for myself and let her know she's getting a little too crazy. Sounds sexist but I believe most women are capable of going off the rails if left to their own devices. Mine actually appreciates it that I push back.
