Don't live in it, but I own one that my grandparents live in. Gets the job done. It is in a location where they want to be so they're happy. Can't ask for much more than that.

I know a baw that bought a beautiful piece of land down on Bayou Barataria. He put a trailer on the property and built a huge shed/ barn with the intention of living in the trailer until he built his house. It's been at least 5 years and he still hasn't built the house. He bought a Hatteras Sport Fisherman and docks it in his back yard at a real nice covered boat slip that he built. Last time I asked him when he was going to build the house he said that he has the plans drawn, but he is not sure he wants to build it. He's happy with the way things are.
By the way he's single, no kids, and has a girlfriend that comes from NOLA on the weekends.
