re: Why can’t Popeyes let you speak while giving your order?

The thing is, the POS computer is prompting the order taker for those things he/she is asking about. It's a combo meal, so they get promted for spicy/mild, sizes, sides, and drinks in some order. So better to let them follow their script. The order will go faster, and more likely be correct at the window (realtive to Popeye's mean success rate).
