Yes pitcher is obviously struggling but lets leave him out there to pitch so some magical number and cost the team a game..... totally makes sense

Please tell me how losing that game last night will stop LSU from accomplishing a single thing that would like to accomplish this season.

Plus the whole psychology behind it - why tear your guy down the first series of the season - wreck his ERA and flush what otherwise might have been a winnable game. Seems like we have a bunch of unknown pitchers we could have given a couple of innings to.
