I suggest we start by not having emotional overreactions to statistically insignificant events. If we get to that point, maybe we can have reasonable discussion.

I think it's a pretty significant situation every time these kids are getting killed at school, would you say the same if it was your niece or nephew or your children

Translation: when MY kid gets their brains splattered onto the classroom wall we can have a reasonable discussion. Until then, carry on.
