I didn't say put their kids on TV en masse in my initial post, which is why I clarified what I was referring to in my response. But to answer your question I don't remember this happening on the right, but then again, the only time I remember this at all is after these school shootings. And given the trauma of the experience, and that "banning guns" would be an understandable emotional reaction for someone in an irrational state, I can't say for sure that their leftists for sure. They're just using leftist reasoning because they are in that irrational state.

You do have the right to say that. I'm just saying that IN MY OPINION, when arguing for a constitutional right, it's not more effective to argue for that right and criticize the argument itself than just criticizing people for exercising another constitutional right.

Your point makes sense that you would prefer they didn't do that, but I don't think it's an effective retort to focus on that instead of the argument itself and the importance of our rights. But I wasn't telling you what to do or not to do.
