There is no mass shooting issue. And not every problem is going to have a solution. Especially when it involves a multi faceted system of checks and balances. The kid, the parents, the school, law enforcement, etc. are all at fault in this particular incident but all it really takes is one of those to fail. Too much margin for error to effectively regulate. The “issue” is as old as time - there are shitty people in this world who do shitty things and that’s all there is to it. You can’t stop everything. You can’t solve EVERY problem.

There’s no single switch to flip

There’s no combination of changes that would fully eliminate it

But if you slightly turn a few knobs I do think you can effect the outcomes some
