We southerners would know all about carpetbaggers. People moving here from the NE and getting into office by other carpetbaggers voting them in and turning our states into " progressive" places from whence they came. They outnumber us now.

It's amazing how many of these damn Yankees move down here, move into a retirement community with an HOA, run for an HOA office and turn said community into their own little fascist entity, where the board controls every little thing imaginable.
