Get the best cash back credit cards you can and put everything you can on it and pay the balance every month.

If you can spend more than 12k annually, get the Alliant 2.5% card (3% for the first year, but has a $59 annual fee) . If you won't spend that much get the Citi Double Cash card.

Also, if you're an Amazon prime member, get the prime chase card. That'll give you 5% back on all Amazon purchases.

All of that can add up to a decent little bonus every month. You just need to be disciplined enough to pay your balances off. If you are, it's free money.
